The President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Suzanne Clark has congratulated the Kenyan Deputy President and President-elect, William Ruto on his election as the 5th President of his country.
In his congratulatory message contained in a press release made available to newsmen, Clark pledged that the Chamber’s U.S-Africa Business Center and its member companies would be committed to growing commercial relations between Kenya and the United States through the new strategic trade and investment partnership.
Also, Clark promised to strengthen the existing advocacy for a free trade pact and, to build business linkages that would promote inclusive economic growth.
In his words, “The Chamber’s U.S.-Africa Business Center and its member companies are committed to growing commercial relations between Kenya and the United States through the new strategic trade and investment partnership, continuing advocacy for a free trade pact, and building business linkages that promote inclusive economic growth.
“We look forward to advancing our collaboration with both governments to advance a stronger economic relationship befitting of the U.S.-Kenya strategic partners”.
Recall that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business organization representing companies of all sizes across every sector of the economy.
Further, Clark added, “Our members range from the small businesses and local chambers of commerce that line the Main Streets of America to leading industry associations and large corporations.
