Egypt, Israel announce $15 billion gas export deal

A $15 billion deal has been announced between Israel and Egypt to export natural gas.

Israel’s Delek Group has signed an agreement to supply 64 billion cubic meters of gas in a span of ten years to Egypt’s Dolphinus Holdings.

The deal is considered a milestone ever since the 1979 peace accord, bringing Egypt a step closer to becoming a regional energy hub.

However, the transportation of natural gas from Israel to Egypt is a challenge given the security risks.

Will the Egypt-Israel gas export deal usher in a relationship of bonhomie and economic co-operation?

Spire Research and Consulting were established in 2000 to address a gap in the research and consulting industry in global emerging markets. Unlike most agencies that focus on traditional consumer research, founders saw a profound need for holistic research projects.

These projects integrate traditional customer research with knowledge of the broader business eco-system; for instance, competitors, channels, legal and regulatory factors.

They support strategic decision-making for market growth and entry. The studies provide indispensable tools for creating business plans, setting sales quotas, quantifying budgets and investment as well as making product launch decisions.

Spire exists to undertake such projects with distinction.
