Ghana: International Youth Day to be Marked with Mentorship Program

An inaugural ‘Skill Shop 2017’ session has been initiated by Challenges Worldwide Ghana in collaboration with Reach for Change, for all youth in Ghana to increase performance at both the personal and professional level.

The event which has been tagged ‘Equipping the youth with the skills to compete’ is in respect to the United Nation’s International Youth Day and is slated to hold on Saturday 12th August 2017, at the University of Ghana Balme Library.

This event is aimed at celebrating and equipping the African youth to be able to compete and face the fast paced world and to meet up with their peers all over the nations of the earth.

Students, graduates, and young professionals are to gather together to meet with successful people and role models from various professional sectors who have gained grounds in their field of assignments and have become role models in those areas.

Leaders like Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi (Executive President of Osei-Kusi Foundation), Mr. Fred K Moore (CEO of AGS Ghana and Former Head of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana), Mrs Abena Brigidi (Investment expert and Entrepreneur, Founder of Nimed Capital), Chief Momeen (Heritage Theatre Series Fame and CEO of Baabu Center Ghana), Mr. Edem Agbana (Radio Show Host, Founder of United Volunteers Network and former SRC President of University of Ghana) and other leaders will be present to ignite a burning desire in the heart of the youth towards economic change and growth.
