Mining Investment Africa, part of the Global Mining Investment Conference Series, will return to Abuja, Nigeria from 3 – 5 May 2017. This conference seeks to draw international investors to Nigeria to explore the mining opportunities in the country and the region.
With the recent Nigerian government announcement in end 2016 about a new roadmap for $5bn mining investment over the next 10 years, 2017 will be an important juncture for the mining industry in Nigeria and the entire West African region. Mining Investment Africa thus provides an ideal platform for miners, investors, government officials and service providers riding this wave of renewed confidence and optimism to forge new business opportunities and partnerships.
Mining Investment Africa debuted in Nigeria in 2016 and attracted over 150 international and local delegates, with positive feedback from the attendees. Alhaji Sani Shehu Mailalle, President of the Miners Association of Nigeria ‘found the event highly exciting in view of the quality papers presented, attendees and networking. It was a pleasure to be a part of this event.’ Philip Andrews, Director at Pridolian Natural Resources Advisory, said ‘Congratulations for a successful mining conference in these challenging times’.
More information on the conference can be found at www.mininginvestmentafrica.com. Mining Investment Africa is organised by Spire Events (Singapore) together with our local partner SD Global Impact Services.
