Nestle Nigeria to Empower Nigeria Youths through an Empowerment Initiatives

Leading nutrition company Nestle, has pledged its support to the cause of youth empowerment in Nigeria through the inception of unique initiatives aimed at boosting entrepreneurship while inspiring talents through training programmes.

Nestle’s Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Manager  Ms. Victoria Uwadoka announced this during the International Youth Day celebration in Lagos. She stated that the company is still committed to their pledge while pointing out that the major motive behind the initiative is that the youths are empowered with skills that would enable them to contribute positively toward building peace in the society.

She said, “This is in line with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable development Goal 8, which aims to promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full off productive employment and decent work for all.’’

In the light of this, a training programme will be organized at the Technical Training Centre in the company’s Agbara Factory Complex in Ogun, to develop and train young technicians for the world of work.
