Nigeria: Football Team to Get $20k per Goal in Battle Against Cameroon

Nigerian Businessman, Udofia promises members of the Nigerian Football team a sum of $20,000 for every goal scored. In the second leg of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Group B rivals Cameroon.

Udofia made this promise to the team on Sunday moments before they headed for the Cameroonian capital Yaounde.

“I watched the game against the Cameroonians here in Uyo on Friday and I am sure you have the ability to conquer them again in their own territory. I promise to reward you with 20,000 dollars for every goal scored in Yaounde,” the businessman from Akwa Ibom said.

Nigeria requires three points in the game against Cameroon in order to qualify for the World cup in Russia.
