The English FA has paid Nigerian-born Eniola Aluko 40,000 pounds (approximately N19 million) after the striker claimed she was bullied out of England women’s squad.

According to reports, the Chelsea star quit the national team because players were ‘undermined and belittled’ by coaching staff.

The English  FA is alleged to have conducted an internal and independent investigation but found no wrong-doing by England manager Mark Sampson and his staff.

In Aluko’s eight page complain note, the Athlete claimed she has been bullied and harassed for two years, adding that England’s Three Lionesses squad was not selected on merit but popularity.

Born in Lagos, Eniola Aluko has played 102 times for England’s senior team, scoring 33 goals.
