The South African property developer and investor Atterbury has laid the foundation of its first development in the country. The company is currently constructing a 15 000sqm facility Mediclinic hospital in Stellenbosch, South Africa costing US$ 27m, which began in the month of May this year and will be completed in March 2019.

This new development is set to improve the world-class medical facilities in the Cape Winelands District Municipality.

The Manager, Atterbury Western Cape Development Gerrit van den Berg, confirmed the reports saying, “This is our first project for Mediclinic, and it is an exciting development for Atterbury. We look forward to delivering a modern, sustainable healthcare facility. We expect it to support Mediclinic in bringing even more of the best available care to this community.”

“As Stellenbosch is a very historic town, Atterbury has taken special care to get the relevant approvals. This includes environmental, rezoning, and building plans,” said van den Berg.
