TRACE Invites President of France to Nigeria

The renowned entertainment company has invited the President of France, Emmanuel Macron to Nigeria. This visit will take place on the 3rd of July, 2018. Macron will be a guest of honour in a special music and cultural event that will take place in Lagos on the 3rd of July organized by the leading entertainment company (TRACE). This would not be Emmanuel Macron’s first visit to Nigeria as he has lived and worked in Nigeria as a staff of the French Embassy.

The entertainment company plans to use this event as a platform to promote the 2020 African Cultures Season. In a statement released by TRACE, the event which will take place in Nigeria for the first time, aims to “change French society’s perception of the African continent through the promotion of African contemporary creation”.

The venue of the event is the New Afrika Shrine, and it will also feature Nigerian cultural talents, including the likes of Femi Kuti, Banky W, Yemi Alade and many others. Also, this event will have in attendance some leading stars in Nollywood, Fashion, Food and Visual arts. The motive for these invitations is to celebrate the successful cultural collaboration between France and Nigeria/Africa.
