UAE Ambassador presents credentials to President of Nigeria

Fahad Mohammed Obaid Al Tafaq, UAE Ambassador to Nigeria, has presented his credentials to President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari, during a reception at the Presidential Palace, in Abuja.

The ambassador conveyed to the Nigerian President the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. They also wished further progress and prosperity to the people of Nigeria.

The UAE envoy hailed the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries and stressed that he will do his best to enhance ties in all domains, especially the political, economic, cultural,and security fields.

President Buhari relayed his regards to the UAE leaders while wishing the UAE people greater progress, development and prosperity. He also wished the new envoy luck and success in his duties to develop ties between the two nations.

In addition to Second Secretary at the UAE Embassy in Abuja, Khalifa Rashid Al Mehrizi, the meeting was attended by a number of Nigerian officials.
