Abuja to host The Nigeria Democracy & Development Forum, 2019

Abuja, the Nigerian capital shall play host to the gathering of political, business and diplomatic leaders, during the forthcoming Nigeria Democracy & Development Forum, billed to hold on the 3 February 2019, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel.

The event, with the theme: “From Africa to the World: Galvanizing the Next Generation of African Global Businesses and Change Agents”, is organized by African Leadership Magazine UK, Africa’s foremost media and communication company.  

The Magazine publisher, Dr. Ken Giami, while listing some programmes lined up for the evening, stated that “We will be using this event to formally celebrate our 10th anniversary”. Continuing, he said, “it’s been 10 years of contributing towards changing the continent’s narrative and we are poised to do more as we go into the next decade, with renewed hope and heightened optimism.”

Part of the activities lined up shall be the 10th anniversary lecture; unveiling of the African Leadership Special Compendium and publication captioned “Pillars of Nigeria’s Development and  Democracy – A Chronicle of present-day Organizations and Individuals building the New Nigeria”, chronicling their contributions, achievements and efforts towards the advancing development; entrepreneurship and innovation in the country today.  

Some expected guests and discussants at this event include Dr. Bai Koroma, former President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Joyce R. Aryee, former Ghanaian Minister of Education and Information; Dr. Cletus Wotorson, former President of the Senate of the Republic of Liberia; and a host of others.
