Botswana Provides Visibility for Local Companies

As part of efforts towards enhancing the market value of locally made products while increasing export opportunities within the country, development schemes have recently been put to ensure proper visibility of Botswana products.

The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) has set things in motion to connect local companies to the ongoing Maputo International Trade Fair in order that they may gain export opportunities and take advantage of market policies to strengthen trade relations.

Another motive of the BITC is to expose Botswana products to the international map and provide market access and trade opportunities globally.

The international fair gathers a lot of visitors at every edition meanwhile, this year companies from Botswana participating at the fair include the Botswana Meat Commission (BMC), Ditec Mobile Botswana, Makoro Bricks, Actfit Architectural Solutions, Arona Natural Foods, Impact Genetics and the Women in Business Association (WIBA).
