Egypt: CBE Reveals Increased Remittances from Egyptian Expatriate

A statement from the central bank of Egypt has revealed that Remittances from emigrants of native Egypt has risen per annum.

According to the statement, the remittances rose by 40 percent compared to its corresponding percentage from the previous year earlier in August.

Remittances reached $16.3 billion since Egypt floated its currency in November through August, a 17.3 percent increase, the statement said.
