Experts to Discuss Inclusive Business at Sixth Sustainability Conference

Leading experts will on Friday, November 11, 2016 converge on Lagos, Nigeria to discuss Building Inclusive and Sustainable Businesses at the 6th edition of the annual continent-wide Africa CEO Roundtable & Conference on Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility (AR-CSR™).

Leading the impressive panel of discussants to deliver the keynote addresses for the event; the conveners have confirmed the participation of Onyeche Tifase, first Nigerian and female CEO of Siemens Nigeria, and Chief Keith Richards, Chairman of Promasidor Nigeria Limited.

The AR-CSR™has become the biggest platform for discussing issues of Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, as well as the enhancement of a public-private synergy for the attainment of a credible business environment in Africa. About The Keynote Speakers

Chief Keith Richards is the Chairman of Promasidor Nigeria Limited; manufacturer and marketer of flagship Cowbell Milk brands and other food and beverage brands in Nigeria. He has had over 26 years of experience in African and Nigerian business. He has at different times, since 1988, been managing director and executive corporate board member in top ranking companies including Diageo Plc., Guinness Nigeria Plc, and John Holt Plc. amongst others.

In recognition of his proficiency and hard work, especially of his involvement in major ground breaking cultural change/community programmes, Keith Richards was voted the No. 7 most respected Nigerian CEO in 2005.

Onyeche Tifase is an experienced Engineering Professional with extensive experience in the power, engineering and consulting industries. She graduated with a BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham and completed her Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

 

She started her career with Siemens in 2001 as an Engineer in the Power Distribution Division of Siemens Plc UK and thereafter progressed up the ranks taking up other key roles in Siemens Germany and Siemens USA. Onyeche worked with Accenture Nigeria from 2006 in the area of management consulting and in 2009 joined Siemens Nigeria as Deputy General Manager Medium Voltage and Transformers Business Units.

 

Onyeche’s career path and achievements over the years led her to become the first Nigerian
Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Nigeria effective November 1 2014.

Onyeche resides in Lagos, Nigeria and is happily married with three children. She is an avid
supporter of local content development initiatives and participates actively in key programs
focused on the mentoring and development of the Nigerian youth.
