Liverpool Football Club Plans Summer Signing Of Nigerian Footballer Simon Moses

Moses Simon, a Super Eagles and KAA Gent winger has caught the eye of Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool FC manager. The English Premiership club is looking to add to their attacking ranks. Moses Simon, 22, is being scouted by the English premiership club according to Echo in Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp who is bent on making his mark in the club is planning more summer signing to bolster his team especially his forward line.

The former AS Trencin of Slovakia player, who has a hip injury that he sustained in training in his club, was omitted from the Nigerian squad that is going to the world cup in Russia. With a year left on his contract with his current club – Gent, it will be an easy decision to move to England.

Moses Simon as was scouted by the English club is seen as a potential great back up for Mohammed Salah according to report from the club. The Nigerian is a utility player who can operate from either the left or right wing. In the just concluded season in the Jupiler Pro League, he helped his Belgian club; Gent to finish fourth (4th) with six (6) goals and three (3) assists.

Moses Simon has made 20 caps for the Nigerian Super Eagles and has scored four (4) goals.
