As founder and CEO of PouchFi, a fintech startup focused on digital banking solutions tailored for the African market, Mr. Akano is driving financial inclusion and digital economy growth. PouchFi targets over 100,000 users with transaction volumes surpassing $500 million, positioning it as a key player in Africa’s fintech landscape.
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Akano held senior leadership positions at Lloyds Banking Group in the UK, where he managed high-profile regulatory and operational transformation programmes worth over £200 million.
