Tanzania: DAWASA to Improve Sewage System in Dar Es Salaam

The Dar es Salaam Water and Sewage Authority(DAWASA) has prepared an organized plan towards environmental comfort for the residents in Dar es Salaam. These plans include the improvements Sewage system to prevent the environment from decadence.

Previously outlined projects which will put the region in check against future environmental problems are also to be carried out.

Speaking about these projects, the Dawasa Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Remanus Mwang’ingo mentioned various communities that will be receiving new sewage centres.

Mr. Mwang’ingo also explained the processes and measures that shall be employed to make the plans a reality in less than a year.
