Akol E. Ayii Named Young African Leader of the Year at African Leadership Persons of the Year Awards

Akol E. Ayii, the esteemed CEO of Trinity Energy Group based in South Sudan, has been recognized as the Young African Leader of the Year at the prestigious African Leadership Persons of the Year Award Ceremony. The event, themed “Building Resilient African Economies,” took place on March 14th and 15th, drawing together influential figures from across the continent.

 

Mr. Ayii, the visionary founder of Trinity Holdings and Trinity Energy Limited, boasts over a decade of senior management experience and holds educational credentials in finance and management, including a BA in Accounting and Business Finance from the European Business School and an MBA from the United States International University. His entrepreneurial prowess and commitment to excellence have propelled him to spearhead transformative projects in South Sudan, notably the Petroleum Refinery, and his interests span various sectors including energy, infrastructure, construction, hospitality, and more.

 

The award ceremony, attended by over 300 distinguished guests, showcased engaging roundtable panel discussions, keynote addresses, and talks on partnerships and investments, fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration. The evening also marked the celebration of other outstanding leaders honored with the ALM Persons of the Year awards, accompanied by the unveiling of the special POTY edition of African Leadership Magazine.

 

Among the esteemed dignitaries in attendance were His Excellency William Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya; His Excellency George Weah, former President of Liberia; Hon. Cllr. Fonati Koffa, Speaker of the Liberia House of Representatives; His Excellency Rodrigo Guzmán Barro, Ambassador, Embassy of Chile in Addis Ababa; Hon. Dr. Kailesh Jagutpal, Minister of Health and Wellness, Mauritius, alongside other notable figures from across Africa.
