Congo Dr to Issue Bond Of $500 Million In 2016

As part of efforts to raise financing of investment project in the country, the Democratic Republic of Congo has recently announced that it will tap into the international debt markets for at least $500 million in 2016.
Deputy Director, Economics and Finance in the Prime Minister’s office Vincent Ngonga, said “We confirm the bond issue, the proceeds of which will be placed in an escrow account managed by leading banks chosen via tender”.
