Ms Adwoa Odom who made the presentation on behalf the company said she hoped the machine would be an advantage to patients and the hospital.

“Our close relationship with our motherland dates back in 26 years, helping Ghanaians to transfer money to their loved ones through our relationship with local banking partners,” she asserted.

Speaking on behalf of the management of the hospital, Dr Kodwo Eyeson, head of Renal Unit of KATH, received the gift with expressions of appreciation.

Dr Kodwo Eyeson said that the equipment was a huge favour to the hospital and would aid in the establishment of a laboratory for the unit.

“We want this to be a major springboard towards getting a laboratory for the unit. It has come at an opportune time. We have a great number of clientele who share a laboratory with other patients from different units,” he noted.

The company also promised that if the equipment is put into good use, they would be inspired to do more to help alleviate the hospital’s standard in terms of equipment because this is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.
