Duport Midstream Company Limited has been recognized and awarded by African Leadership Magazine as The African EPC COMPANY of the Year for its immense contribution to national growth in the energy industry and the support it renders to its immediate community in sustaining its impact.

Awarded at the African Energy and Infrastructure Forum, a virtual event held on Thursday, May 20, 2021, organized by African Leadership Magazine, the CEO of the Organization, Dr Akintoye Akindele, was on hand to receive the award and appreciate the recognition as a relevant means of identifying Africa’s potential and strength in opportunities.

Speaking on the award, he said it is a testament to the possibilities which are unlocked in partnerships between the Public and the Private Sector.

“This award is a testament to the possibilities and opportunities we unlock when the public sector and private sector collaborate together. This award is a testament to the potential and skill we as Africans bring to the table when we partner with global players to create unique solutions that solve Africa’s problem from energy to other sectors”.

Dr Akindele, leading Duport to build the first energy park in Nigeria, aims to expand the level of impact the company has achieved since its creation, and in doing so, favours the growth of local competencies and skills to improve education and the sharing of the commonwealth towards the development of the oil and gas industry in any terrain.
