Ethiopia: Project that Creates Youth Employment to Be Launched

Over 10-million-dollar project that foresees the creation of 12,500 jobs for the youths will be launched on Thursday.
The initiative by International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology and MasterCard Foundation is expected to directly benefit the unemployed and out-of-school youth, according to a press release.
The five-year project would also provide opportunities to additional 25,000 people involved in the value chain from harvesting, to processing, packaging and marketing honey and raw silk, it was indicated.
USD 10.35 million is allotted for the project.
