Iran, Algeria to cooperate on housing industry

The Iranian Ambassador Reza Ameri in a meeting attended on Friday by senior managers of the Algerian ministry said the economic cooperation in housing industry should be promoted to the level of political ties.

Elaborating on Iranian companies capability in mass housing, he expressed Iran’s readiness to cooperate with the Algerian side calling it to support the suggestion.

The Algerian minister Abdel-Wahid Tammar at the meeting welcomed the suggestion and emphasized that the two countries can cooperate on related research, holding workshops, and exchanging experiences as well as mass housing.

Algeria has built hundreds of thousands of residential units for its citizens, and the policy is still on agenda.
