On the areas where his country hope to foster trade with the country, Ambassador Al-Kaabi said that the State of Qatar through its Banjul embassy is ready to enhance the rapid development of any sector of The Gambia’s national economy, but cautioned that this would be based on the urgent needs of the country.

He also hinted that the State of Qatar is willing to help develop the Gambian in the area of tourism and hospitality and that his country’s national airline, Qatar Airlines is hoping to make a direct flight available to The Gambia to make the West African nation more attractive to the Qatari investors.
