Rwanda’s Minister for Gender and family promotion, Esperance Nyirasafari, has given the rights to Rwanda women for full participation in the forthcoming presidential election to hold in August this year.

The minister has urged the women to be in charge of the voting sites by cleaning and decorating the voting centers and gathering other women to turn up for the electoral processes.

This speech was given by the minister on Monday while addressing some women in Kigali.

She said, “Voting for a woman is a consolidation of our development process; to consolidate inclusive development that puts emphasis on women.”

She went ahead to instruct the women to guide their friends and relatives who are not conversant with the voting system and the electoral processes, to put them through and ensure that they have their full participation in the election.

Other women leaders who were in attendance charged the women to take full responsibilities and work together for the success of the election to ensure consolidate growth, peace, and stability in the country.
