Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Mwigulu Nchemba has recently donated building material worth Sh57 million for the construction of a dormitory for girls.

Speaking during the handover, Mr Nchemba said, “I would like to use this opportunity to thank you for enabling me to continue representing you in the Parliament. You demonstrated your trust in me through the ballot box in last year’s general elections, we must work together to improve education status in our area and the country at large.”

According to Mr Nchemba he was appointed Cabinet Minister after Wananchi enabled him to go to Parliament.

Reacting to youth who complained that they were being denied opportunities to join the national service this year, Mr Nchemba said the government offers equal opportunities to each district.

He said for Iramba District only 53 youth were selected to join the national service this year.
