Hon. Boima S. Kamara, Director General of the West African Monetary Agency (WAMA), has been recognised with the ALM Top 40 African Finance Leaders 2026 Certificate of Listing in acknowledgement of his outstanding contribution to advancing monetary cooperation and regional economic integration across West Africa.

The recognition was presented at the 16th African Business Leadership Awards (ABLA) 2026, held as part of the African Leadership Magazine Africa Summit in London, celebrating distinguished leaders whose work is shaping Africa’s financial and economic future.
As Director General of WAMA, Hon. Kamara has provided strategic leadership in strengthening regional monetary collaboration and promoting policies that support economic stability and integration among West African nations. His efforts have contributed to deepening cooperation within the region and reinforcing the foundations for sustainable economic growth.
