Mr Condé is a towering figure in Africa’s extraction and industrial transport landscape, holding key concurrent leadership positions that place him at the centre of West African trade infrastructure. In addition to leading CBG, one of the world’s premier bauxite producers, he serves as President of the Chambre des Mines de Guinée, representing over 70 mining enterprises and shaping the strategic direction of the nation’s critical extractive industry.

The award celebrates Mr Condé’s transformative impact on Guinea’s mining export corridors, which under his stewardship have been developed into highly efficient maritime and trade arteries. Overseeing the modern export logistics for over 17 million tons of bauxite annually, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to operational scale and supply chain integration, reinforcing Guinea’s position as a global resource powerhouse.

He formulated and spearheaded the signature “Zero Harm” framework, a national-level worker safety initiative that has become a benchmark for operational excellence across the mining sector. His strategic vision is also steering CBG toward value-added industrial processing, highlighted by milestone achievements such as the company’s 100th Board Session and the planning of a domestic alumina refinery, which promises to deepen local beneficiation and create sustainable economic value.
