Sychelles, Congo Central Bank Governors To Join Other African Leaders At African Leadership Event In Washington Dc

ABUJA-Ms. Caroline Abel and Mr. Deogratias Nyembo, the Central Bank Governors of Seychelles and Congo respectively, have confirmed their participation at the forthcoming African Public Service Forum & Investment Summit, billed to hold at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington DC on the 18th April, 2015, on the sidelines of the World Bank/IMF annual spring meeting.

With this confirmation the two Central Bank chiefs have joined the growing list of African leaders who will be participating at the 2015 edition of the event, organized by Africa’s leading leadership based publication, African Leadership Magazine. Also recently confirmed to be part of the event are:. Mr. Rundheersing Bheenick, immediate past Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritius and  Mr. Adu Anane Antwi, Director General, Securities and Exchange Commission Ghana.

The event with the theme:  Efficient Public Services Sector-Key to Africa’s Economic Growth & development, will also have in attendance Ministers of Finance, Heads of Government Investment Agencies; Bank Executives and major think-tank of Africa-US relations, from Washington DC.

The event is organized in response to the need to build an effective public services sector in Africa in tandem with global best practices. The delegates will join other leaders to discuss the future of the continent, as well as share ideas on ways of building strong institutions in the continent.

The event is one among the series of events, organized the Pan-African Publication, African Leadership Magazine, which occupies a strategic position in the global stage, as a leading platform in showcasing the best of Africa to the rest of the world.
