Under his leadership, GLAE has continued to position itself as a key player in Africa’s evolving energy landscape, leveraging strategic partnerships, innovative financing mechanisms, and regional cooperation frameworks to support critical power infrastructure projects. His oversight extends to major subsidiary operations, including Ndola Energy in Zambia, while also facilitating engagement with regional energy initiatives such as the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP), which plays a critical role in enhancing cross-border electricity trade and grid integration.
With more than two decades of experience spanning engineering, energy generation, corporate leadership, and public service, Dr Mushimba has built an exceptional career at the intersection of technology, infrastructure, and policymaking.
